Western Freshwater Restoration Fund

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is pleased to announce the launch of a Request for Proposals for the Western Freshwater Restoration Fund. NFWF is soliciting proposals to support restoration of freshwater to critical rivers, lakes, and estuaries in priority geographies throughout the western United States. This fund will support voluntary water transactions, paired with monitoring and outreach, to help showcase the ecosystem benefits of increased instream flow. The Western Freshwater Restoration Fund will award approximately $850,000 in grants in 2018.
